@Villaforever  TCM & Ginx are nothing to do with Sky, it is the owners of these channels that are closing them probably due to low viewing figures and advertising revenue.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Changes to the Sky TV guide - June 2023

Yes what you say is correct but Sky still provide your subscription to these.

Do if a third party channel closes it's usually the third party who determines a closure. The other scenario us when it if Sky ends contract with a third party.

But it us still says platform and all dependent on contracts with third parties. Hope that helps

Agree about TCM but Ginx is part owned by Sky.

Ginx is part owned by Sky and ITV and has been since 2016.

It is only being removed from satellite, it will still exist on Sky Stream, according to recent articles from the likes of rxtvinfo.com

Is there any other stations like that, that is sky glass/sky stream only and not on sky q/sky hd etc?

As per accounts to 31 dec 2021, Ginx has lost nearly 10 million pound since formation, have negative net assets of £478k.

I don't think so, but it would be an interesting experiment to see if such a channel could be financially viable if it isn't paying satellite data transit fees.

Re: Changes to the Sky TV guide - June 2023

The answer to your question is no. So far this will be the only one.

There are channels on satellite only and not on glass/Stream but not the other way round. So Ginx eSpirts TV will be the first
