My father has had a Sky landline for years, as well as Broadband. I call him every evening from my Vodafone mobile. All fine until last night, when it refused to connect. I tried two other Vodafone mobiles, and neither would connect.
My BT landline connects fine, and my father can call my Vodafone mobile. It's only incoming Vodafone numbers that don't connect. Google tells me that this not an uncommon problem, but finding a solution isn't so easy.
The only service checker I could find was for Sky broadband, which found an unnamed problem and allowed me to book an engineer.
Can I assume that this engineer will be able to fix the landline problem despite being called out on a broadband issue?
