Also have sky landline and that doesn't work to make any calls!! I NEED to get in contact with my doctors surgery asap

The mobile issue has apparently been fixed. Try switching your mobile off and back on again.

I had the same problem. Spoke to Sky and its a fault between the exchange and  my house

I have the same issue can make or recieved calls on my landline and cannot get through to sky been on the phone for an hour just music

@daz89 someone on here put me in touch with a sky representative.  It took two hours of chatting then waiting but worth it. There is an engineer calling next week. A fault between the exchange and and my phone line. I had a dial tone but just got a message saying number not recognised.

My landline has been dead for 2 days now. No dial tone

 

If I ring it from another phone it says the number does not exist

See if you can run this line test to see if a fault is found outside of your property and if something is found you can book an engineer repair, ignore the fact it says it will test your broadband:

You can also run this test via the MySky app.

Land line fixed

  1. Many thanks to the people who helped me when I said my land line wasn't working. I was escalated by I think it was Mark. Anyway , I had an online chat with someone from Sky. Took a couple of hours as they were busy with others too I guess. Bottom line , I got a text this afternoon saying turn my hub and  ONT (white box )off for an hour, after that the problem would be solved. It was, clear line too.  Very pleased.

@gab64 I had the same trouble. Sky said it was a fault between the exchange and my line. Been fixed now, thanks to someone on here escalating the problem. I was on line with someone from Sky. I got the dial sound but when I rang from my mobile it said Number not recognised.  OK now.

cant call on my mobile because it is unregisters.

I clicked  the link and its shows the broadband side of things all work fine.

 

We had an upgrade to our Sky hub on 29/06/2023 - since then landline has been dead.

Phoning the landline number from another phone says the number does not exist.

 

I bought a new landline phone thinking that was the problem.

But no - still no landline service.
