Problem with landline

My landline buzzes whenever I make or answer a call and yet whoever I'm speaking to can hear me clearly.  I've followed the instructions in Sky Help but it hasn't made a difference.

Are you using a cordless phone? If so, try a standard corded phone handset to see if the buzzing goes away.

Thanks for the advice but unfortunately I only have a cordless phone so now will ring Sky.

I want to cancel my landline please, I've not used it for years 

I want to keep my broadband 

my landline phone has been broken and never bothered to buy another landline phone cos I don't want it

You can't cancel your landline service without also cancelling broadband unless you have a separate fibre optic cable to your home.

 

Just make sure you're not subscribed to a phone call package and you won't be charged unless you make calls.

I have contacted Sky and they ascertained there was disturbance on my line and have alerted Openreach to the problem. Openreach have since texted me to let me know that an engineer will be looking into it. Thank you everyone for your advice .
