Need to report friends faulty landline

My elderly friends landline has  been faulty for several weeks - first no calls received then now,  cannot make calls out.  He reported the problem several weeks ago but despite Sky promising help,  non was received.,  He lives in a remote area and has problems using a mobile phone. He has serious health issues and this is causing him stress and anxiety. I tried 150 and a 0333 number  but these are automated and requesting info which I don't have.  Can anybody, anywhere provide some help?

@DeMott43  If the fault has al;ready been reported then Sky/Openreach would be aware, how do you know they are not providing any help?

Sky won't speak to a non account so obviously won't speak to you  regarding this, the account holder will need to make contact.

@DeMott43 not sure what you're referring to. Openreach can investigate a reported fault without needing to contact the accountholder. Clearly it's not fixed so the best thing your friend can do is speak to Sky about it again.

I would suggest he get's registered with Sky's accessibility team as there will then be extra contact options other than calling:

@DeMott43  Seems like despite our best efforts you feel you need to shout at people, I do hope you don't do this in real life?

As we've attempted to help you and just get that kind of response I don't think we'll be able to provide any further suggestions. as we are just getting nowhere and I for one don't intend wasting my time on a Sunday with an ungrateful poster.

Yes, I would shout at you face to face because you have wasted my precious time with stupid questions and suggestions.  It's obvious you are not a pragmatic person and failed to iunderstand the fundamental problem.
