Upgrading Sky+ (not even HD..) to Sky Q

Hi,

Looking to upgrade my in-laws archaic Sky+ (non-HD) box to Sky Q but the website seems to want only offfer me Sky Q with Multiroom.  They only have one TV so this is no use.

Been round and round the website trying to find the option to just upgrade their single box to another single box but it doesn't readily appear.

If anyone has the link to this mythical page, I'd be very grateful..

Thanks - but as I'm not the account holder, would they speak to me to authorise changes?

@BelmontRoad  Yes they should do providing you know the telephone account access password if one is setup

the only thing you won't be able to do is cancel anything

Chances are the website is offering the 'free VIP upgrade' (no up-front cost) by default.  To get just a main Q box typically requires paying a fee but this is still cheaper than paying for unwanted Multiscreen over an 18 month minimum period.

@BelmontRoad They're currently offering free upgrades to Non-HD box customers anyway due to the BBC switching off SD channels from the New Year. So explore that route when you phone.

Good point: I'd forgotten about that.  The dedicated web page is here:
