Technika TV model X32/29G and Sky+HD box

Help!!!!!  TV has broken.  Been given a Technika TV model X32/29G on loan but I cannot get any channels at all.  Have checked all connections etc.  The TV has built in Freeview, does this mean I can't view through my Sky+HD?  Many thanks.

Then it should simply be connected via a HDMI cable and you just need to select the correct HDMI source on the TV.

If you are connecting to the Sky Box via a coax cable then the TV needs an analogue tuner (Freeview is digital)

Is this your main TV, connected directly to the Sky+HD box?

I think it's quite possible such a set isn't capable of full HD, though

Thanks, TV is connected to the sky box via HDMI leads but when I switch the TV on it goes through a set up and it doesn't find any channels at all.  It says no signal.

That's attempting to tune into broadcast digital terrestrial television received through an aerial.

Your Sky box is on an HDMI input port, not a 'channel'

Typically there's an option to disable the tuning routine, accessed using the TV remote control.
