Are you tuning to an affected channel when checking the signal in the settings?

To confirm - is the white part of all four bars at least half way across?

My FAQ makes it quite clear about that and also has a Graphical example 🙂 So they should know what to look for 😉

Not sure what you mean. If its the signal strength then it all the way across.

I also only have plain old sky - no + or hd or glass or Q.
Just plain old sky & an original box.

If it's a really old Sky Digibox from the 2000s, it's likely to be on the way out.. No Signal (even when there was a signal) used to be a common sign of a failing power supply on these boxes. As it happened after a power cut that seems especially likely to be the cause.
