Sky+HD Box

Have had box as described for many years with no problems at all ... however some 2/3 weeks ago the green "in use" light on front of box has ceased to light during use .... have re-booted box 2 or 3 times, without success, to try to "light" it ... all other lights are operating and there are no function problems at all ... is this simply a bulb gone which can be replaced  ???... or something of no consequence .... or more serious requiring attention ??

If the box is otherwise working normally, I'd ignore it. It's probably, as you posted, a failed LED.  Replacing the LED isn't something that a Sky engineer would do (it's not as straightforward as replacing a blown bulb) so the box would need to be replaced in order to fix it.
