I'm not exactly sure when this started, but my Sky+HD box no longer gives me the option of setting series reminders on Gold. All other channels are fine, just Gold that's not working.
Since I can't find any references anywhere to this problem, can anyone please confirm that series reminders are still working OK on Gold.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI no longer have Sky+ so can't check it for you, but you could try rebuilding your Planner as described here. It fixes all manner of quirks.
It's possible that UK Gold aren't providing series link information for some of their programmes.

Thanks for the reply. I tried a rebuild but it made no difference.
I don't think I'll bother with a full reset, not unless someone else can confirm that GOLD series reminders are definitely working on their Sky+HD box.

It's very strange that I should get this problem on only one channel.
I can't think of anything else to try, apart from a full reset, which I don't really want to do.
I'll just have to live with it for now.

Yes, odd. Do you have a good signal on both dish inputs? When you check your signal strengths, the white part of all 4 bars should be at least half way.

Yes signal strength and quality are both excellent, but I fail to see how poor signal strength/quality could affect series reminders. BTW Gold+1 is the same.
I also tried powering off at the mains socket and leaving it for over an hour.

A good signal on both dish inputs is required for series link availability. But it was a long shot as you mentioned it being limited to the Gold channels only

So perhaps I've been misled. Series reminders are NOT working on Gold after all!
I think I'll have to try and contact the channel and find out what's going on.

Series reminders have started working again today on GOLD.
I wonder if it's anything to do with the email I sent them last week.
It could just be a coincidence, but the important thing is that it's working again.
