I have the same issue, had it for months.... it's not the tv no way.  It's the sky box for sure as it's been changed over once and still the same..... everything else comes on no problem.... doing my head in so it is....

It's not a Sky box error message. Perhaps it has come out of the ether.

I can confirm that this is NOT an error that a Sky box will produce, I suggest you google for the message and your make/model of TV

It is a tv error I'm with Virgin Media and have same issue, Apparently needs a Software update to fix this error happening ever so often

I'm getting it all the time... out of nowhere... can't get sky now on my second tv!!! Help!

@Aztecdenny as posted previously the message is from your TV, not your Sky box. Tell us more about the problem with your second TV.

I have this issue too on a Samsung S90C. Is there a fix coming?

 

Turning off HDMI-CEC is not really an option due to my attached soundbar

This just worked for me, thank you. 

 

Also been having this issue for months, despite changing HDMI slot and cable.

Hope it works will try next time it happens. But holding down power button just reboots tv  after 5 secs doesn't it ?
