Main box freezes overnight and mini boxes don’t work in the morning

I have a son with special needs and he wakes very early (4 am ish) and wants to watch Sky via a mini box. This mini box is upstairs. However, almost every morning he gets a blue screen and no connection. Most times this is an issue with the main box downstairs, which has frozen overnight. The light can be green, amber or red, it varies, but the tv is not picking up any connection. I have to turn the box off and on again and this fixes the problem. Obviously, I don't want to be woken up at 4 am every day to have to do this. Please assist.

Likely the system has gone into standby mode. Try changing the settings to 'none' as per the info on this link
