How do I find out if my sky box is UHD and HDR ready?

There shouldn't be any problem adding the UHD package, even if you had a box that didn't support HDR, as that isn't a requirement for the UHD pack.

Not true. There are still earlier HD-only boxes in existence, used primarily for switching customers from Sky+HD to Q when they have no interest in UHD.
