I have had my new phone and sim delivered but I need to return both

My sky mobile phone and new sim have just arrived. However I didn't realise that my old sim has not ran out yet. I need to return both items and get rid of the direct debit for both

You can use your old sim in your new phone of you want, so if you haven't already do not activate the Sky sim that has come with the phone.

Ah thank you so much. I put the new sim in the new phone but didn't put any activation code in so if I bin it, I won't be charged for the sim?

@Darcey1

If you did not activate the Sky sim then it will be cancelled by Sky 30 days after you received it so you will not be charged for it. You might be sent an email reminding you to activate it but this can be ignored.
