I am new to sky and have been given sky go movies and sport whilst my sky broadband and TV activates on 2 Jan.

How can I watch it on my TV. I've just bought a hdmi to usb c lead but it doesn't pick up the signal on my TV. I am not going to watch TV on my phone, it's way too small. If I can't watch it on my TV at all, this was a pointless gesture from the sales team.

It will not be possible to connect your phone to your TV using the cable as the Sky Go app itself will block the content from being shown this way due to rights and licensing issues.

The main purpose of Sky Go is to be able to watch Sky via a portable mechanism e.g phone, tablet or laptop. Obviously the main Sky service is meant to be the one used on TVs.
