I'm ripping my hair out over this same issue on my iphone! Apparently outlook app is not recommended, along with a few others, but Apple mail is and thats what I'm using, so how can this be fixed?
It won't fixed until Apple get around to fixing it. I've used the Outlook app in the past and it seems fine. I wonder on what basis it's not recommended, unless it's simply because it's not an Apple product?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThere's a frequently reported, intermittent issue with Apple's Mail app which has been going on for months. From previous posts, the problem is short-lived, and then returns to normal working. A more satisfactory solution might be to use a different email app such as Outlook.
