If this is Sky Yahoo Mail the two step verification code is sent by text to your mobile, not by email.

That problem has been reported before, and it is not easy to solve. See this thread:

Answered: Sky.Com email verification code is sent to my sky.... | Sky Community

Good luck.

Verification codes for what? Sky Yahoo Mail? Or other websites?

Verification codes are sent to your mobile's phone number but the recovery code was sent to you via a email when you first used 2 step authentication.

As I posted before it's sent by text to the mobile number you gave when you turned on 2 step login.

2 step log in is not without issues, but not even Sky would send a login verification email to the  email address which you can't access until you've logged in!

2FA verification codes are only sent to mobiles, so if you are being sent a code to email it must be something else.

Could you post a picture of what you are seeing when the code is sent? Obviously obscure any private info.

Did you check the link I posted earlier, is your problem different?

@binkybearuk

We can't tell just who your individual posts are to.

Either type an @ and select the name of the person you are replying to, or quote the actual post, like this:

We can only assume that this has nothing to do with Sky Yahoo Mail's 2 step log in process then, despite your earlier post.
