Will not stay connected to tv

Switched to Sky only one month ago. Since switching unable to keep connection. I am having to enter code numerous times. Did not have this problem with previous company and the Sky box is positioned in the same place. I have turned off both tv and sky box which does resolve the problem for a short time but will not stay connected. Please can you resolve this for me as disappointed with product as I didn't have this issue before switching.
