Good Morning All
I am in need of some assistance please.
We have our Sky hub downstairs running our Glass TV etc, but upstairs we seem to have a black spot in 2 of the bedrooms. One is our gamng room where we are getting upload speeds of less than 1MB.
We have had multiple Sky people out to have a look, changed our hub, put a booster in etc, but the situation hasn't improved. Becuase we are getting the required download speed, they Sky don't seem interested in helping solve the problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we can do? The hub is too far away to run an ethernet cable the whole was to our devices and boosters do not seem to help at all (even the Sky one.)
Can Sky come out to put us in a new socket upstairs perhaps? But then will out Glass downstairs hve the same problem?
Any help would be very much appreciated

No, but they can book a 'master socket relocation' from Openreach for a fee (applicable to FTTC)

Quite possibly: routers typically generate their poorest signal downwards.

For gaming where direct ethernet isn't possible, Powerline network adapters are something to try.
