Ahh ok. Thank you all for your help. I feel a lot less stressed out that I know what the issue is now and have a course of action to take. Just annoyed that the previous occupant had left with this vital bit of kit.

Recent models carry a permanently printed advisory label because this happens so often.

Ahh ok. Seems sensible.

 

I don't suppose you have the best number/way of contacting Sky regarding getting a new ONT do you?

First option below will not work for you second will.

 

To Contact SKY by telephone
Call 150 from your landline and stay on line via voice prompt's

 

If not an option then sign into your MySky account.
Click on Help top off screen
Scroll down page until you see Need more help?
Scroll down further and you will find the contact number to call.....
