I am having issues with my laptop. Im informed my IP address is infected? How can you help please.

An 'IP address' cannot be 'infected': as noted above, that's language typically associated with the start of an attempted criminal scam.

 

An individual device using a particular IP address, or one on a domestic network with a public IP might be 'infected' but these days actual viruses are vanishingly rare compared to the flood of self-inflicted ransomware and non-technical social engineering scams, neither of which is an 'infection'.
