Discussion topic: World Cup dark/dull picture

I'm finding the pictures on the World Cup really dull and dark on both ITV and BBC. Thought it was my TV but having checked on another and on my phone it appears to be source or transmission. Even the score banner looks washed out.

Anyone finding the same?
