Weather affecting signal
Is reply about poor disc reception saying caused by bad weather an acceptable answer? Don't pay all this money to be told can't watch tv when windy and wet 😢

Re: Weather affecting signal
@Jpean Your post has been moved from the email board as that is not an email route to Sky but is for customers with Sky/Yahoo email account issues.
You're also not replying to Sky customer services so they won't see this post.
I also presume your referring to your Dish, no a disc?
Which TV box do you have Sky+HD or Sky Q, if irt's the former Sky no longer support this system, you will need to employ the services of a independant dish installer.

Re: Weather affecting signal
Sky cannot be held accountable for bad weather, rain between you and the satellites will block the signal
If wind is causing issues then it is your dish then needs attention

Re: Weather affecting signal
I think you mean dish. Satellite signals can be affected by heavy rain, wind and snow and also if rain gets into the wiring from the dish.
Whatever answer you're referring to could be perfectly acceptable in the right context.

Re: Weather affecting signal
Thanks so are Sky responsible for the dish?
Are we not able to receive signal now through internet without a dish?

Are we not able to receive signal now through internet without a dish? Not if you have Sky+HD or Sky Q, you would need Sky stream for that.
