Why did Sky Sports Golf show two different versions of William Mouw's approach shot to the 16th green in the second round of the US Open? The live version showed the ball striking the flagstick and rebounding into a bunker. The replay showed the ball passing the flagstick and backspin then took it back into a different area of the same bunker.

I'd imagine there was either a glitch in the matrix, a brief distortion in space-time which opened a window into a slightly different version of reality, or a minor mismanagement of a digital asset by the editorial team.
