Are Sky planning to show US College football again this upcoming season  2025/26?

There is nothing confirmed for the coming 2025/2026 ncaa season.

For the 2023/24, the rights were only agreed in November 2023 (apart from Notre Dame matches). Hopefully it is better this time

Bumping this. The season starts soon. Would be good to know if Sky will renew their coverage. Was pretty decent last year.

If I remember correctly, it was only from November onwards that the coverage aired and deal agreed so may have to wait a bit longer.

That's correct regarding the initial 2 year deal in 2023, last year the coverage started pretty much straight away. Hopefully we don't have to wait till November again for a new deal.

My recollection too.

I think week 0 and week 1 last year was on the red button on sky sports +, then it was on sky sports nfl station from week 2 onwards

Just spoke to a Sky booth agent in a shopping center. He asked in the Sky internal chat system about College Football this 2025-26 season and appartently Sky has not renewed the ESPN deal as of yet. He said that could change but so far Sky are not showing College games

Great effort! That's a shame. Coverage was pretty decent last year and I can't imagine it cost them a lot to show it. Hopefully they will get it sorted asap because there's some big games early on.

I wonder if this is another casualty of sky taking on more premier league matches alongside every EFL match. Sad

Come on Sky. Pull your finger out. Yesterday's game in Ireland was very entertaining. Could have been a good intro to the college football season before the pros start. Next weekend is Texas vs Ohio State. College football could be close to as popular as the pros over here with a bit of promotion.

Regardless if Sky did renew the ESPN contract, that Texas v Ohio State is on FOX and not ESPN so they wouldnt be able to show it anyway. You'll have to get the highlights on Youtube after.

Very sad Sky don't show it, create an audience and then let them all down. Makes people switch to illegal tv
