Can anyone tell me why The Rookie airs new episodes at 02:00 on Thursdays and The Rookie Feds airs at 02:00 on Wednesdays. I have a series link but it seems thats the first of the NEW episodes and then everything is re-runs. It make's no sense as the airdate is Tuesdays in USA (plus the series has already finished) I understand broadcast is after the airing in the USA, I'm just curious why it airs at 2am instead of a more normal time.

They do the same for a lot of programmes.
The benefit for it for viewers is that as Sky add it to.'catch up' shortly after airing it, so people could watch it earlier in the day than waiting until 9pm to watch it.

I think that goes back to when Game of Thrones became such a big deal: US broadcast of a new episode was prime-time Sunday evening (21:00 Eastern Time) , so the simulcast in the UK was very early (02:00) Monday morning.
