Hopefully I maybe wrong, but, I have noticed a worrying trend whilst watching the tennis recently.
During sit down at the end of 2 games or end of a set etc, the background music seems to be extraordinary loud and doesn't seem to come from the court itself but rather piped in from Sky.
Anyone else noticed this, it may well be the end of tennis for me as this awful music is too intrusive and muting the volume is not the answer.

For most events I think Sky Sports will be taking a world feed from the venue and won't have production control at that kind of level.

It's a worrying trend at many sports events that somehow the sport is not entertaining enough and it must be enhanced with other forms of entertainment, be it, loud music, pyrotechnics, dancers etc. A few years back, I went to the O2 to see the ATP finals. Every time the players changed ends, they played David Bowie's "Hero" so loud that I could not talk with my wife. So you don't talk during play out of courtesy for the players and you can't talk between games because of the loud music. There is no consideration by the organisers that loud music is not optional.

That's clearly ridiculous, you'd of thought the demographic ratio of the audience would be a consideration.
I certainly don't see myself attending this pseudo rock concerts in the near future.
