Skysports coverage

Why have TNT Sports shown all eight of this week's midweek Premier games live and Skysports none!!

It was part of the rights package Tnt Sports secured at negotiations for a full midweek fixture package

 

As part of the 2022 - 2025 rights deals, sky have 128 games, tnt have 52, prime 20.

Sky rights for 2025 - 2029 go to 215 matches.

It's a result of the way the PL distributed match rights, presumably designed to draw attention to the different platforms by permitting the minority partners to have at least some instances of exclusive coverage.
