Sky movies new releases are getting worse.
The news releases of movies on a Friday is now scrapping the bottle of the barrel. Absolute rubbish. Last week a release of the remake the colour purple because it is black history month. School holidays all kids films released, no adult films. The whole of sky's is full of woke rubbish. I have stopped watching anything on sky because it is all rubbish reality tv shoes and repeats. I only have sky for the family but I am asking myself why am I wasting so money on this rubbish.

Why are you complaining when you have not subscribed for yourself ??????? if the rest of the family enjoy the movies then your complaint is null and void

You are a sky fan. So you can't get it.
How did you come to that conclusion ????
I don't watch Sky any more, my viewing is 99.8% YouTube. My mum is the account holder and watches Sky most of the day (she's retired)!!!! 🙄

Re: Sky movies new releases are getting worse.
Taking Sky Cinema for a moment, no one is forcing you to subscribe to it so if you don't think it's value for money and you're no longer in a minimum term deal then cancel it. If your family still want it that's something you need to discuss with them. If your family enjoy Sky in general but aren't bothered about Cinema then cancel it.

Realistically Sky is a small regional distribution platform competing with global streamers and studios which increasingly have their own apps.

Mostly because the alternative can't actually be broadcast...
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

. I only have sky for the family
So then what is the problem, if you only have it for the family?
On the colour purple, it was released in uk on 26 January, so given 8-10 months general wait for big movies on sky and sky's agreement with the maker WBD, it arrived around when expected.

Ok, but you have a whole on-demand section of Sky Cinema, so you can watch whatever movie you want. And if you have Sky Cinema on Sky Q, you also have access to Paramount+ which has even more movies, so you have a lot of choice and don't need to rely on the linear Sky Cinema channels.
The Sky Cinema channels are just a taste of what Sky Cinema and Paramount+ have to offer.
