Sky box update it’s a frozen screen and cannot watch tv

The TV comes on and sky comes on then a screen comes on and says device update reboot and at the bottom of the screen it says accept / not now 

press ok nothing happens and the screen is frozen ??    No TV

This sounds like your TV is attempting to do a software update, not your Sky box.

Try using your TV's remote (not the Sky remote) to select OK on the screen and wait for the update to finish.

I'm at work at the moment so I've told my wife what you said about the TV remote pressing okay she's gonna give it a go and let me know. Thanks for that. I'll let you know
