Sky Sports Golf commentators

It is time for a huge clear out of the commentary team.

They are either obsessive about Woods or McIlroy (even if they are not playing or in contention); they waffle and rarely provided useful information; and they don't know much about the use of good English - for example the word "twenty" now appears to be "tweny". They wallow in their own self importance and Sarah Stirk as  hosting compere says nothing of any value.

The rarely used Richard Boxall is a breath of fresh air but presumably too honest to be deployed very often.

I assume no one in Sky actually reviews commentary since it survives despite its mediocrity.

Re: Sky Sports Golf commentators

Absolutely agree.  Keep Ewen, Richard, Rich, Wayne, Anthony.... definitely ditch Nick Dougherty (dreadful), Sarah and probably the rest who are bearable but not particularly good....

Nick has ruined all of the recent majors - he witters on and on, flat voice, pointless commentary ( we don't need to be told what we can see for ourselves, we don't share his hero worship of Rory, and we're not interested in his silly inconsequential comments, yet he has a lead roll and dominates coverage.  WHY?
