Sky's pictures from Austin are awesome this weekend. I always watch in 4K UHD and this weekend, the pictures look better than ever!
Thank you Sky Sports - great work.

I hope you don't mind me asking - what flavour of Sky are how watching on?
I only ask because I'm having issues with Stream, F1 is the main thing I subscribe for and I'd totally be up for switching back to Q or similar if the experience is still so much better.

As a previous long term Sky user (20 years+) I am looking to return to the fold as it would appear that Sky have a monopoly of F1 broadcasting in 4k. Can anyone offer recommendations on what the best option for viewing is I presume SkyQ would be more stable than streaming although I am currently with BT and the fibre broadband is very stable where I live and I have no issues viewing Prime, Netflix or Disney content in 4k.

If you do have a reliable fibre broadband and a good local network, Sky Stream is certainly a great option.
I have had it for just over a year and the F1 was excellent on Sky Stream last year, without issue.
The on demand for all races is cloud recorded for all the sessions and Teds notebook during each weekend and after a short time reverts to a full On demand of those sessions. All those from last year and before are still available to watch from the On Demand.
Sometimes the cloud recordings were not available straight after the live session/race, but it was only a short wait.
Have a read of my own story from moving from Sky Q to Sky Stream as a dedicated Sports, Motorsports and F1 fan in my signature link below, for some background of my journey.

A monopoly in general.
