no one on phone to help with tech, its all a robot,
There are plenty of agents to assist with issues, technical or otherwise, however you'll find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up. Sky do this to allow self help via links or help from Community users therefore reducing the number of customers actually needing to queue to speak to an agent.

I remember it well (was it really 45 years ago?). I'm curious to see how it has aged over that time.

Wikipedia says first broadcast was 10_07_79
Given it was on ITV, I've always thought it's a shame they don't include the advertising too.

Maybe not the PG Tips chimps, though ; )

I was ten, and we 'didn't watch ITV in our house '. Yes, kids, that was a thing.
My dad did insist on 'Butterflies' for some reason...

The now, unfortunately, defunct network distrubution (networkonair) did include 'contemporary' adverts on a few of their discs (I suspect the cost of this level of effort & detail they put into some of their productions may have been one of the reasons for their demise).
A blu-ray I have of the Avengers Cybernauts trilogy being one (I am sure I have others but don't recall which off the top of my head)

It's there, but there's no series linking, which is a nuisance.
If series links are missing, it's because the broadcaster hasn't included series information in the data they supply to Sky.
Although being a brand new channel, it's quite possible it'll appear over the next few hours.

I'm having the same issue - though I did manage to find programmes on it and set them to record via the Sky Go app

The 1980 film, Raise The Titanic is currently showing on this channel. I remember the story behind it as it flopped badly at the box office, only making back a fifth of its budget. This led the producer, Lew Grade, to comment that it would have been cheaper to lower the Atlantic.

Wikipedia says 39 million budget, 7 million box office.
That's about 160 million budget and 30 million in tickets today.
Ouch: those are Marvel-level losses ; )

@TimmyBGood Strange, my Wiki says $35m budget, $7m box-office. 🤔

I wonder the reasoning why we can't get it on Sky stream.

I'd guess the broadcaster doesn't have sufficient funding to be able to provide the appropriate feed. May even be rights issues too.

Possibly Streaming rights (as referred to in my reply yesterday on the Channel change thread) - I note that some (if not many) shows are available on ITVX

As someone mentioned, it's a pain not being able to series record. 🙁
