Ref watch VAR offside rule

Would like to ask  VAR would be so easy for offside  if the line drawn was the foot only .  The  Name is football not headball, body ball or hand or finger ball.
let's have some common sense and make the decision easier

Umm but if a player can legally head the ball how on earth can you only judge the offside by a players foot.

Automated offsides is quite easily doable with the technology that is available which is why it's being trialled. I think the issue may be more to do with how many cameras they would need and the position of the cameras. As we have seen they don't have enough cameras at the correct angles for a number of decisions this year, which the correct coverages from multiple views AI can easily tell you whether it's an offside or not.

Ok sounds like you want to ban headers as well based on that.

I'm guessing goalies have to only use their feet as well to save the ball. Would certainly make games high scoring as every ball kicked into the top of the goal would go in as the keeper would ahve no way of saving it with their feet. 😂
