picture isn't working on sky sports

does anyone know why sky sports is not working house full of darts fans wanting to watch darts

Since posting back in December I tracked the problem down. Check your Audio Visual settings are set correctly... ideally UHD with Dolby Digital HDMO output. I have an HDMI extender which occasionally drops out and the sky box reverts back to HD settings..... which makes a massive difference to the spatial sound effect

To clarify though, this isn't a Sky Glass issue. The problem is also reported on Sky satellite. 

It seems to be a problem between the venue and Sky. 

It doesn't make it any less annoying, but because this was posted in the Glass forum I just wanted to assure people that it's not actually a Glass problem.

There is also onscreen messages so the broadcaster is obviously aware of the issues.

Yeah same here, watching on Sky stream but it's absolutely awful, keep getting an on screen apology but it needs sorting out sharpish

Yes, it is not a Glass issue. It is a "Sky Provider" problem

Its more likely to be a dirty fibre connection or other dirty connection in the Sky Outside broadcast truck if no other sky sports programs are affected.
