Thinking of subscribing,but seeing at a friend's house the football picture quality -especially from abroad,doesn't look as natural as Sky Football? Worth paying ?

I've never found Premier Sports to have picture issues not seen on other channels during some International programmes.

You do get access to their app too with occasional live streams.

Do they not do a free trial?   VirginMedia have a free for the whole of August.

Yeah the timing of the virgin media free trial for Premier Sport is interesting as they have been in new negotiations with TNT Sports recently over carriage fees over the past few months and as I understand it removed TNT Sports as included from

some of their package bundles.

The picture quality on Premier is mostly ok. What I will say if you saw poor quality. Was it on filler clips between shows? For some reason whatever way they do it, the clips are usually dreadful jerky quality. I've noticed this especially on la liga and rugby clips.
