How to turn off the Pin function to watch channels before 7pm. I seem to have to put a pin on some channels like sky Atlantic for programmes I want to watch before 7pm. I cant see anywhere in the settings to turn this function off, I had the same issue with virgin and told me I cant turn it off. Any advise?

You can't, some channels require a pin to view if it's before the watershed @Ashleysamuels
My advice is to stop watching live TV. Set your own viewing schedule and watch what you want, when you want by creating watchlists for on demand content. I've been doing this for a couple of years and haven't had to input a PIN to watch anything. Not even looked at an EPG in that time either.

It's application of the Mandatory Daytime Protection PIN which permits Sky Atlantic to carry its schedule of unrelenting sex, violence and language before the 21:00 watershed: this simply wasn't possible until Ofcom changed its rules back in 2018.
