I pay for no adds on paramount and I just been watching something and it had adds

If you are paying Paramount for the standard or premium tiers I don't see what that has to do with Sky?

 

Sky don't offer a bundle including any ad-free tier of Paramount, the only way to get as free would have been to upgrade your paramount + subscription from the basic ad tier.

Were they actual adverts?

Even on a premium tier, you will still get trailer and promotions as described in the Paramount+ help;

 

All plans include trailers and promotions for current and upcoming content at the beginning & end of a show or movie, and sponsorship (or similar).

Not to be rude. But I no what adverts are. And they were adverts. And if they are what you get every time I would deffo pay to have them removed. 
also I have had paramount for long enough now to know what's ads are like

I've had actual paid for ads too on my Premier subscription on Paramount+ - but not during programmes.

Not sure if it was an error on their part or because I've cancelled auto-renew on my subscription which ends in a couple of weeks.
