"2 devices" means you can watch Netflix on 2 devices at the same time.

For example, you could be watching Netflix on Sky and someone else in your home can be watching Netflix on a laptop via a different profile on the same subscription from Netflix.

Sky solely provide the app. If you sign up to a streaming service (e.g. Netflix) via Sky, it's only the subscription that is managed by Sky. But you can watch Netflix on compatible devices (Sky Q/Glass/Stream app, Android app, iOS app, website). This also applies to other streaming services that are available on Sky Q/Glass/Stream.

If you wanted to sign up to (e.g.) Prime Video directly without Sky, you can do that. As Sky solely provide the app, you can still watch Prime Video on Sky Q/Glass/Stream, app, website, etc.

Before Disney+ partnered with Sky, the Disney+ app has been available on Sky. People paid Disney+ directly and were (and still are) able to sign into Disney+ on Sky.
