Does anyone know why Sky have left off the last two episodes of True Detective (season 2)
There should be 8 but on the Sky box sets they are only showing 6 so I can't actually watch the final two episodes
Seems odd and frustrating to only let you watch the first 6? Thanks

I am not sure this helps you but I can't find any of Series 2 - I can only find S3
Is it possible that the you had recorded the earlier episodes when it was previously available ?
Some content does come & go & it looks like S1 & S2 are not currently available
Just out of interest are you SKY Q (I guess you will be as you posted on SKY Q) or do have SKY HD

On Sky Q
yes started watching season 2 about 5 days ago and we got to episode 6
I would simply visit the Home Screen and just select the next episode under the Continue watching banner
now when I search for true detective like you, a search is only returning season 3
Hopefully it'll come back on again soon as I don't really want to pay £18 that Sky are selling the box set for in their store 🤦♂️

You could try Amazon and see if they are selling it. If they are, you could buy just the two episodes.
Also, you should have noticed that there was an expiry date on season 2 when you started to download it. Also, you should have downloaded the entire season. You should always download all epsiodes of a program you want to watch if you have the disk space for it.
Another thing to do is download the Sky+ app to your phone and you can use that to look up a program or movie and see when it expires so you can plan your watching.

I would suggest emailing viewer relations at viewerR@sky.uk as they may have more information on this.

Why have I sat through the first two series to find series two does not end? Why is series 3 being offered for viewing without season 2 ending? I am paying for sky glass monthly in an increasing financial crisis - this is not acceptable and cannot be justified. It is not defendible in any circumstance. It is really poor to take our money using false advertising. If you don't have a full series to show don't bother showing half of one...

The reason for your issue is that Season 2 has expired. It not available to download. If you read my reply marked as the answer, you'll see how to avoid this in the future.
Season 2 is available on Amazon Prime video for you to buy the episodes you have not yet seen.

Your reply is over a year old, that being the case my point still stands, why are sky advertising season two when it has expired? Why are customers sitting through half a series only to find the end missing? Why is episode 1 - 6 still available? Why only the last two expired? It shouldn't be available at all if this is the case. Sky make out they have great series available on demand but if you dig deeper....

My answer still stands as correct for now. Season 1 is now gone. Only season 3 is available to download.
