Typically the issue is either:
a) a dish misalignment means a live channel cannot be received
or
b) on-demand content in HD is being selected without having the HD add-on in the subscription.

I can't get sky history either
I get "no satellite signal"
It's the only channel that does it

Most likely for the same reason as the originall poster See the reply to their post.

How can it be dish alignment when every other Chanel work?
Plus only had dish 2 years.
It worked, I watched it
Now suddenly it doesn't and its the only channel that does it

And its not HD or catch up I'm trying to watch
It's the normal bog standard sky history channel

This had me looking through the channels
Mtv and comedyxtra are the same
Weird
Every other channel is bob on
And according to my satellite signal in the settings I have good signal
🤔

This will be a dish alignment fault. It's normal for only a handful of channels to be affected rather than all of them. You will need to get in touch with Sky and arrange an engineer visit if you want it fixed.

I'll get in touch with them
Wonder why and why it could have suddenly gone out of alignment

I've just looked and it's 65 quid for an engineer visit.
I've just redone my contract for my sky
I'm on signature
And I'm in my cooling off period
So I think I may do what I was thinking of doing when I rang retentions to discuss my contract, and that is to cancel and get ee tv and internet.
Same stuff in the package and nearly a tenner cheaper.
I stuck with sky cos i actually like my sky q box but having to pay 65 quid to get a few channels back
It'll work out cheaper to switch providers

@Mark224 If you have SKY Q the engineer's visit is free for faults/mis-alignment etc.
The £65 charge is only for a dish move or cable relocation erc.
(although there is a surcharge for weekend visits)

Cheers for that
I'll ring them Tommorow
My **bleep** went then when I read that it was gonna cost 65 quid to get a few channels back lol
