I CANNOT WATCH MY TV

IT says that yhe card is.nt working.I cannot watch tv. I have tried everything. For two days I have.nt been able to watch tv.

Sky Q or Sky+? It doesn't seem to be a Sky Go issue where you originally posted.

Is there an error/error code that appears on a pay channel when you insert the card? 


Ensure your viewing card is inserted correctly. Using your Sky remote; go to your Viewing Card information and check there is a Viewing Card number present. You can do that by: 

Sky Q:

  1. Press the Home icon (button under the down arrow and above the blue mic button)
  2. Scroll down to SETTINGS and press SELECT (circle green button with white dot)
  3. Scroll down to SYSTEM INFO and press SELECT.
    Here you can see the Viewing Card number, the serial number (etc.)
    If there is no viewing card number here and your card is inserted, it may be faulty, and you will need a new card

    If there is a viewing card number present, TRY DOING A CALLBACK: 
  4. With "Viewing Card number" highlighted, press select to highlight "SETUP"
  5. Press SELECT on "Viewing card setup"

Sky+HD:

  1. Press the SERVICES button
  2. Scroll down to SETTINGS and press SELECT
  3. Scroll to SYSTEM DETAILS
    Here you can see the Viewing Card number, the serial number (etc.)
    If there is no viewing card number here and your card is inserted, it may be faulty, and you will need a new card

    If there is a viewing card number present, TRY DOING A CALLBACK: 
  4. Press the SKY button to exit the menus.
  5. Press SERVICES (Don't move from here)
  6. Press 0, 1, SELECT to access the Installer Menu
  7. Scroll to NEW INSTALL and press SELECT
  8. Follow on-screen messages to complete.

Note: Please do not post your Viewing Card Number or your box's details to this forum.
