Halloween

Do Sky not have a licence to show 80s/90s horrow/Halloween films?

Honest question and opponon.

I am cycling through the week's films, they are all new-ish, ok, there is a 2013 evil dead, but no classic horror, no Halloween 80s style, no Nightmare on Elm Street etc, Hellraiser and so on, just those in the recent decade that are on the other channels anyway. Disappointed really, being a horror fan.

The owners of such content may well calculate that they get a better return from licencing to streaming services (or the studio now has its own streaming platform)

Re: Halloween

The Original Friday 13th is airing on Sky Atlantic on 19th October , so at least will be added to Sky Cinema

The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II are on Sky Cinema from Studiocanal, Army Of Darkness aswell, is that from Universal?

Nightmare on Elm Street isn't available anywhere in the UK, not even on HBO Max

Hellraiser films are on Shudder which is just licensed from independent companies.
