Are sky actually fixing this? Have tried to get hold of thd right episode by deleting forever and downloading all formats as well as reruns on different days- still the wrong episode!
can't watch this weeks now as we still haven't got s6 ep2.
come on sky, his hard can it be to count from 1 to 4 in the right order?

I've just checked ep.2 available to stream from Sky Go, and it is the correct episode.
Are you absolutely sure it's the wrong episode that is downloading? There is a bit of a time jump - the episode starts with Dr Lim eating breakfast in her house.

@BeauNidle I checked my recordings last night and was annoyed to see it still says 'Ep 2' ( when it is ep 4 really I think) but I decided to watch and see if it was ACTUALLY Ep 2 and not 4.... and it was! So then I rewatched the new recordings and am finally FULLY up to date! Hoorayyy!

The issue has now been resolved as episode two now on sky is not the same as the one it was earlier which was episode 4.
On my android sky Go app I searched the Good Doctor episode two is definitely correct now.
Except I watched episode 3 and was confused why the storyline felt backwards and unlinked.

Trying to download episode 3 after missing it last night,downloads but will not play.Tried previous episodes from series 5 and nothing plays.
Showing download but will not play.
Just tried other sky play back and same problem.
BBC play back working fine.
Any suggestions?

If you haven't you need to delete the wrong episode then delete it again from the deleted recordings section then you should be able to download the correct version.

Just to let you all know, the 2nd episode starts with Dr Lim at the table having breakfast, the 4th starts with a big recap of previous episodes. Hope that helps?

I have just gone to watch the good dr that I had recorded, same problem as others episode 1 was fine and then 2 was wrong. Came on here and found this thread and followed the advice deleting and permanently deleting from manage section on recordings. I now cannot download any episodes of the good dr they all fail in SD and HD format (don't have UHD)
how can we download this and episode 3 which I also deleted to be safe!?

I cannot download The Good Doctor Season 6 episode 2. I have 'forever deleted' the incorrect episode, but I get 'failed' message when trying to download in SD

@HareyS There's currently a separate issue affecting all/most downloads. Sky are aware and are working on it.

Have you tried the Sky Go app, I've tried it and am able to see the correct episode to. To do this rather than go to catch up I search in the box for The Good Doctor and click it then click season 6 and followed by episode two.
I'm not sure if I'm the only user but after watching the wrong episode 2 which was episode 4 I hadn't realised.
After which I looked in the app and the correct episode was added.
