I've followed the steps as suggested, just get download failed technical fault.
Hopefully when it does download it will be the correct episode

I have deleted my old one but I am on Virgin so don't have the option to download, I am just recording all the episodes, hopefully one of them will be the new one

Has anybody managed to download it in SD or HD? I have deleted recording forever but when I try to download it says download failed.

Thanks for the advice regarding UHD TV's, I hadn't realised that I had not set my new TV up to broadcast UHD until I read this fix. Cheers.

Hi! So just deleted forever The Good Doctor S06E02 and I'm getting "failed, technical fault" message whenever I try to download it. Any suggestions?

@Carol+M1991 and @Luliboo - perhaps the fault error is because Sky is trying to resolve the issue with the incorrect programme being assigned to Ep2 🤔

the episode for tonight is the same as last night, i deleted it and followed the step and it failed

Coo blimey-I am aware that "Menopause Brain" is affecting me, but watching The Good Doctor pre-synopsis REALLY threw me for episode 2!
Am doing the same as others and recording tonights 11.00 p.m. in the hope it is the correct one......
If not, is it going to be put right?

Me again. Deleted original and downloaded episode On Demand. It worked!

If you delete the episode that's wrong, then go into recordings and delete forever, then go back and re download it, the right one downloads!!!
Pain in the a but it did work!!

Watching the correct episode 2 now. At last!
I had the same problem as others - download failed in SD.
At least now I can watch the story progress.
