Disney+ linking issues

I have linked my existing Disney+ account with Sky account however I am finding it difficult to change subscription from Premium to Standard with Ads so Sky covers the entire Disney subscription. When I try to activate Disney+ account it is wanting to add £9 on to my bill for the 'Premium' account. Is it possible to refresh the link between Sky and Disney+ so I can select standard with ads subscription option?

hi @Beanzballantine

As you have found, when  you previously had a subscription for Disney+ then the transfer process transfers you at your previous 'Tier' and will get charged (£4 for the upgrade to Standard - No ads, ) or like yourself  £9 if you have/had Premium

(BTW I think most people do wish to continue at the same tier)

You can reduce it back to the Basic with ads tier via SKY Marketplace once transferred if you wish from the next billing date - I am not aware of being able to downgrade  sooner

EDIT - If you haven't actually transferred it yet then maybe downgrade via Disney itself before transferring but that might take almost as long
