Discovery + problems

Like others on this forum I too have problems accessing the Discovery + app. I have spent many hours on the telephone to Sky and Discovery trying to resolve the problems and also raised a complaint with Sky who, after 4 days told me to reboot my Sky box, something that they knew I had already done many times. To me it seems incomprehensible that Sky are making customers jump through hoops, waste hours of their own time and raise complaints when clearly there is a known problem. 
Surely Sky, you have this forum that you could use to acknowledge the problem, assure people that the problem is being worked on, and providing regular updates. Perhaps have a known issues section.

Wouldn't that be better customer service?
