Discovery + Sign in problem

Discovery+ not accepting the codes?

Discovery plus issues

Am having problems signing in on Sky stream to discovery plus app when putting the 6 number code in and it says it doesn't match the number on the screen. The code does match. Any help would be much appreciated

 

There has been an update to the Discovery plus app on the phone overnight. Wonder if that is the issue on there side or it's not been updated on stream?

This seems to be a Discovery+ issue.  This has been raoised to Sky so awaiting any updates.

Thanks for highlighting the problem that you are experiencing, and thank you for tagging me @GD1 

 

Discovery are updating their app, so if you have Sky Q, it's unlikely that you will be able to sign in to the app until this work has been completed. The work is expected to be completed by the 27th September for Sky Q.

 

If you have Sky Glass/stream, you should be able to sign in to the app as normal. If you're having problems, can you provide the following information, please?

  • Are you using Sky Glass or Stream?
  • Does restarting the hub/device help?
  • What's the experience? ie you see an error message, or the screen doesn't change?
  • What device are you using to pair your device with? mobile or web? Does the other one work?

Hi @KevNewMedia I have stream and the issue is that Discovery are saying the 6 digit code is not correct and won't let you in 

 

i can log in fine using my iPhone and watch the app

I'm in the same position on a Sky Q box.

 

Just to say that I signed in fine on my LG TV, Fire TV Stick, and Apple TV using codes, having made sure the apps were up to date [on Apple I had to maually update to ensure that, and the LG TV indicated an update was needed].

 

My Windows PC and XBox didn't need signing in again [the XBox app had an update as well]. My phone updated the app today [Android] and needed email and password to log in, but that worked fine.

 

Just leaves the Sky Q box, but at least I have alternatives 😀
