Catchup tv

Our LG TV has been fine and we use catch-up a lot, but for the last two days when I go onto catch-up it says server not responding, try later.

Is this a problem with our TV or further out that we can't do anything about.

I think there was an update to the TV  recently, so could this have affected it?

Settings says we are connected to the internet..

Have you tried restarting your Sky box by switching off at the plug for 5 minutes? Always the first thing to do when there's an error.

Switching off the router for 5+ minutes didn't work. Plan B?

Did you turn off the Sky box as router was not mentioned?

We don't have a sky box, only the router.

Assume you are talking about the TV apps, for your catch-up.

Often after an update, it's wise to reboot the device, in this case a TV.


Remove the power or switch off at the socket of your TV.

Restart your Sky hub/router and once back up, repower your TV.
