landline still not working one week after sky stream installed and followup visit by engineer

my brother lives in sheltered accommodation and when his sky box stopped working was persuaded to have skystream with landline transferred from bt to sky. he is handicapped and cannot use a mobile or explain things on a phone.  my other brother deals with his paperwork but is under hospital treatment. we reported the landline not working a week ago and an engineer visited this morning i understand but the phone line is still not working.  been hanging on phone to sky for ages and am 200 miles away - how can we get help to get this sorted quickly please - need help.

If your brother has health issues that affect his ability to communicate, it may be worth registering him with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help now or in the future. Once registered there are also different methods of communication with this team other than phoning so have a look at the related links here… ~

i saw this about accessibility issues and would like to get him registered but they wont help with the immediate situation as we are not registered currently.

Just for clarity when dealing with the call centres, this is a Sky Broadband / Sky Talk issue.  'Stream' is a subscription television product (which frequently gets sold alongside broadband) and if you start off by referring to it they are likely to get confused..
